How many companies use your software?
Currently over 3.300 companies use our software, approximately 23.000
users.
Who are your main competitors?
Financial planners in most companies still work with spreadsheets.
However, many require transparent and secure software to deal with the
complex structures which inevitably arise. To that extent, we compete with
the producers of spreadsheet programs. The are currently about 5 or 10
companies, which could be described as competitors. Some offer analysis
tools, other management information systems or pure planning tools. We
offer our customers an integrated software which covers all of these aspects
(planning, analysis, information, controlling) and also includes strategic
management considerations.
Why do you use the slogan "to succeed
in business"?
"To succeed in business" fits our outlook in more ways than
one. Firstly, we want our products and services to contribute to the
economic success of our customers. Secondly, it is a goal to which
we ourselves aspire, and thirdly, it encompasses the vision which is
the motivating factor in a market economy.
How many employees work for CP?
In the Hamburg head office there are currently 110 employees. There are
additional CPers in England in our subsidiary firm CP BUSINESS PARTNER | DSSbiz.com., and in our Competence Centres. We also have many associates
in CP Partner Companies, who are also involved in sales, training and
consulting for CP software customers. We estimate the current active
potential as about 200 co-workers.
What does the future hold for the company?
We are looking to the future with a great deal of optimism. This is due
to our confidence in the quality of our products, the skills and conscientiousness
of our workforce and the fact that we have effectively proved our abilities
for a number of years.

Is there a Support?
Yes. Our customers rate the performance of our Support as "very
good".
Can I have a maintenance contract?
Yes. We charge a fee equivalent to 1.25% of the software list price per month
for the maintenance contract services. These include free updates and our
comprehensive Support service. Also included are reduced-price training courses.
Can I receive updates even without a maintenance
contract?
Yes, but a maintenance contract is cheaper.
How often does CP release
an update?
On average about once or twice per year.
When does the maintenance contract come
into effect?
It starts at the end of the guarantee period, six months after the software
delivery date.
How long do I have to wait for the software
to be delivered?
Generally, the software should reach you within 2 working days of your order
being received.
