CP-Analyzer – The simple world of multidimensional analyses

At CeBIT 2007, Corporate Planning presented CP-Analyzer, a further add-on module for Corporate Planner, the tried and trusted budgeting, planning, analysis and reporting system.

With this new analysis tool, quick multidimensional OLAP analyses concerning all areas in an organisation are easy to run. Furthermore, ad-hoc analyses of mass data can be performed over an unlimited number of dimensions.

The add-on module covers the analysis requirements of the diverse user groups throughout a company to a professional standard. The aggregated data are displayed clearly and appropriately, whether for company management, section managers or sales staff. A particular user is thus able to get even more out of the interaction between planning, analysis and reporting for business decision-making purposes.

The integrated CP-Analyzer tool processes the data which are already available in Corporate Planner. In addition, mass data from a range of sources such as relational databases, text files, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and XML streams can be imported, merged and analysed.

All dimensions and hierarchies in CP-Analyzer can be taken in any order to form the basis of an analysis where a logical relationship exists between each. The query results are visualised straight away; a single click reveals which of the data are included in the current selection. Any combination of qualitative and quantitative data can be evaluated as desired. This provides the user with valuable information which would otherwise remain buried in the operational systems.
