Try using Google!
The Google search engine enables you to search our website for any term.
Tips for your search:
- The default setting for linking search terms is
the logical "AND". Google will only display those pages containing
ALL your search terms. You do not have to enter "AND" between
your search terms! 'Controlling Hamburg' is equivalent to 'Controlling
and Hamburg'
- The logical "OR" operator must be stated explicitly: 'Hamburg
or London'.
- Google searches are not case sensitive: search requests for 'Hamburg' and 'HAMBURG' will return the same results.'
- Google searches automatically for hyphenations such as 'break-even
point' and 'breakeven point'. Should you
wish to differentiate between these two words, please use a '+' sign: '
+breakeven point'.
- Typing errors are usually "picked up" by Google's alternative
suggestions.
- Special characters apart from those listed below bring no results
and are ignored
- Google also ignores 'common words' with no real meaning of their
own, as well as single letters or numbers. If you wish to include common
words, single letters or numbers in your search, then please use the
- '+' sign. Do not forget the space in front of the "+" sign.
To search for Basel II enter 'Basel +II'
- A '–' sign in front of a word excludes this word from
your search. There must be a space in front of the '-'.
- Quotation marks " " are used for a phrase search. This
type of search finds the string of words between the quotation marks, "such
as these".
