CP Networking Day: Health and Social Care

Hamburg CP Corporate Planning AG 1 day

  • Avoiding shortfalls in the funding of residential elderly care

With deceptive certainty, the offer sounded like a budget-neutral transition from care categories to care requirement levels under the terms of the Act for the Reinforcement of Nursing Care in Germany (Pflegestärkungsgesetz, PSG). That is why only a few care homes have taken proactive measures. According to current studies, a significant worsening of the occupancy structure towards the lower, loss-making care requirement levels can be expected in the coming months. Our speakers will be demonstrating approaches to integrated business management using the Corporate Planner software. Our topics are revenue planning, cost of materials planning, payroll cost planning, balance sheet and cash flow planning, as well as reporting and visualisation.

  • HR management following the Acts to Reinforce Nursing Care in Germany

The payroll, which makes up around 80 % of the total costs, is the most important factor in residential elderly care. With the new legislation having come into effect, HR management based on occupancy-dependent parameters alone has had its day. If the industry is to remain cost-efficient in the future, it must now explore new avenues in terms of revenue-based reference values. Our speakers will give you a technical introduction to the solution and demonstrate their implementation in the software.

  • Integrated software solution

At this Networking Day, prospective customers meet existing customers of Corporate Planning and discuss the topics of current interest in the industry. We will present our integrated planning solution in real time on the basis of best practices. The Networking Day is aimed at managers and commercial directors of organisations working in the field of residential elderly care.

HR management following the Acts to Reinforce Nursing Care in Germany: Urgent action required in light of a changing legal framework for residential care homes for the elderly The Acts to Reinforce Nursing Care in Germany (Pflegestärkungsgesetze, PSG) have reformed the elderly care sector. Care homes previously deployed their staff according to occupancy levels, but this will no longer be adequate for long-term cost-effectiveness. Human resource management must adapt to the new legal environment and to a systematically changing occupancy structure.
