BDO and Corporate Planning launch Strategic Partnership
Expertise in design and smart implementation from a single source are now being provided by BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and CP Corporate Planning AG in a strategic cooperation. BDO will be complementing its services with the wide-ranging software solutions from Corporate Planning.
As part of this close collaboration, the two companies are jointly organising a series of events entitled “Digital Finance”. At twelve locations throughout Germany, experts from both companies will be taking questions on digitalisation in the SME sector. These events are aimed at specialists and executives in the fields of finance, group accounting and corporate performance management.
The objective is to support SMEs in the digitalisation process with talks and best practice solutions relating to integration from a business administration and technical perspective from corporate performance management through planning to consolidation.
Ralf Widdig, Partner and Head of IT Risk & Performance at BDO AG, explains: “In contrast to many competitors, the software solutions from Corporate Planning provide an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to operational and strategic topics. This prevents the emergence of isolated solutions and enables the customers to expand their corporate performance management, consolidation and reporting processes smoothly. With the integrated range of functions, we can develop excellent bespoke solutions for our customers on the basis of our corporate performance management and BI expertise.”
Peter Sinn, CEO of CP Corporate Planning AG, says: “BDO and CP have a common objective. I’m delighted that our corporate performance management software, together with the expertise of BDO, will form a highly valued and close alliance between IT and specialist business administration knowledge. I’m certain that progressive and forward-looking companies stand to benefit a great deal from it.”
