Corporate Planning awarded IBCS® Certified Provider status
In May 2021, CP Corporate Planning AG (CP) successfully completed the IBCS Institute’s certification procedure to become an IBCS® Certified Provider. This distinction is based on proof of competence in implementing the International Business Communication Standards (IBCS) in practical projects. CP is one of only ten IBCS Certified Providers worldwide.
“I’m extremely pleased that our consultants’ IBCS expertise has been recognized,” says Lars Böhle, Chief Training & Consulting Officer at CP Corporate Planning AG. “The certification offers companies the reassurance of having us at their side as a professionally qualified, experienced partner for the implementation of reporting projects according to the IBCS framework.”
IBCS are gaining in importance not only in major corporations and large groups but also among SMEs. However, in addition to extensive knowledge of the standards, their implementation requires a high level of technical expertise. This presents many companies with huge challenges.
As an IBCS Certified Provider, CP has demonstrated its know-how in at least three IBCS-compliant model solutions and submitted work samples to back this up. CP speeds up the implementation of the standards in businesses, smoothing the path to transparent and sound decisions.
CP’s comprehensive package for IBCS-compliant solutions
With the integration of the hi-chart® Reporting Studio in the latest version of Corporate Planner, CP now offers a platform-independent, IBCS-compliant reporting solution. This ability to put the standards into practice and a thorough understanding of numerous sectors such as social care and the housing industry add the finishing touches to CP’s range.

About the IBCS Institute
The IBCS Institute hosts the IBCS project, provides training in the IBCS standards, conducts IBCS certifications and provides IBCS-related educational material.
The International Business Communication Standards (IBCS) are practical rules for designing reports, presentations, dashboards, and the charts and tables they contain. They deal with the drafting of content, visual perception and the use of semantic notation. The development of the IBCS standards is an ongoing process that is managed by the not-for-profit IBCS Association.
