Solidarity in the SME Sector

Maintaining Liquidity Despite the Crisis

The coronavirus and the comprehensive measures to stop its spread are having a firm hold on the economy. According to the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), almost one in five businesses throughout the country is being threatened with bankruptcy. In the travel and hospitality trade, this figure is up to 40 percent – and there’s no end to the crisis in sight. “Proceed with caution” is the message, and liquidity must take top priority. With Corporate Planning (CP), the CA controller akademie, Saxess Software and the CP Partner Network, experts in corporate performance management from the SME sector have now come together to support small and medium-sized businesses in this difficult situation. Under the slogan “Solidarity in the SME Sector”, they are helping businesses to make themselves fit for the future in uncertain times – with a quick and straightforward approach and entirely without the need for investment decision-making.

“In times where orders are evaporating, supply chains are being disrupted and investing activities are being put on hold, many businesses lack the necessary transparency for the important decisions that are now required. This is where our SME initiative comes in,” emphasises Simone Doerfner, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at CP Corporate Planning AG. “Thanks to our collaboration with the experts from the Controller Akademie, Saxess and our partner network, we have put together a kick-start package of expert know-how and suitable technology with which businesses can manage their short-term liquidity. And, best of all, those businesses are being given our professional cash management software for a year for free.”

The kick-start package for safeguarding short-term liquidity includes:

  1. 1. a free licence for Corporate Planner Cash (12 months)
  2. 2. installation and connection to the relevant back-office systems
  3. 3. online training and consulting for structure build
  4. 4. personal consulting on safeguarding liquidity from CA controller akademie and the CP Partner Network (3 hrs)

The one-off fee to cover the costs of the service package consisting of installation, connection, online training and consulting amounts to €2,900. Service and maintenance will be free of charge. All services are contactless, i.e. provided online or by telephone. The free licence will expire automatically after twelve months but can then be renewed if desired.
