What was your starting point?  
Our objective was to set up an integrated reporting system, including the budget and monthly forecasts, based on existing SAP reports. We wanted to use CP to deliver a documented, consistent data set. Connected to Excel, CP would then serve as the single source of truth for web reports that the cost centre managers would retrieve directly.  

What are your highlights?  
One of the highlights of the CP solutions for us is the web tool.  

What lessons have you learned?  
To roll out Corporate Planner properly, and for subsequent developments, it's going to take a certain amount of time. Regular consulting sessions are necessary and also useful.

AUSTROCEL HALLEIN, PRODUCER OF PULP AND BIOENERGY. We have been known for our high-quality products made from cellulose at the Hallein site for more than 130 years. With the production of environmentally friendly pulp and the recovery of the associated by-products in the form of bioenergy, we have positioned ourselves as an industrial company and biorefinery that is focused on the future. Our core area of business is the efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly use of wood as a raw material for the production of high-quality textile pulp and bioenergy. At our site in Hallein, 15 km south of the city of Salzburg, we employ 275 people. We only use spruce (softwood) from sustainably managed forests. From this, through various processes we obtain high-purity pulp for the manufacturing of textile fibres (viscose). We have invested more than €60m in our systems and processes. From the by-products of cellulose production, we obtain green electricity, district heating, biogas and lignosulphonate. We supply this electricity and district heating to the public grid, thereby contributing significantly to a reduction in CO2 emissions from fossil fuels. Up to 20,000 households in Hallein and Salzburg receive electricity and district heating.
