What problems has the software solved?

The Corporate Planning software gives me a comprehensive overview of all the key performance indicators, has ideal evaluation features and is an excellent means of managing the entire business. Being so easy to handle and quick to adjust, the software allows me to perform corporate performance management tasks single-handedly. We have 20 business operations at five locations in Germany with approximately 120 cost centres, along with “pure” cost centres that need to be managed and monitored. The internal reporting for our business operations and our business partners is made easy with the software. With the various evaluation options on offer, our head of operations is well equipped for managing his areas of responsibility.

What has been the greatest benefit from using the software?

I have been working with the Corporate Planning software ever since 2006, and it provides everything I need for day-to-day corporate performance management tasks. My main focus is on cost centre accounting. Managing the 125 cost centres in total is only possible by using the Corporate Planning software. What’s more, by implementing the dashboard client, we have found a great way of reporting the lesser known key performance indicators to our employees. As we can visualise in colour how the figures have been developing, the staff feel very well informed.

What processes and structures can you now depict, and how?

We depict the structure for cost centre accounting at our business operations and produce the reports for business partners and for statistical evaluations, particularly of the HR data.

How do you find the handling of the software?

I find it simple and intuitive. Adjustments can be made quickly by the user. The running costs are manageable.

How did you find the process of adding more solutions?

We took part in the licence promotion at the end of 2016 and, for the first time, invested in licences for the Corporate Planner web client. This is eventually going to take the place of our current method of reporting to the business operations. Once the new reporting system is in place, we will also use the web client for our budgeting and rolling forecast. These are just initial ideas, which I expect will lead to further process improvements in my modestly staffed department, bringing more potential to light here that can be put to better use elsewhere. The Corporate Planning software enables me to increase our potential even further.
